John David, a 2002 graduate of Mayfield High School, went on to college at Murray State university where he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in 2007.  John David is now finishing up graduate school at Murray State in Animal Science.  John David, being Dr. Flanary's nephew, has grown up working at Flanary Vet Clinic.  John David enjoys hunting, fishing, soccer and helping Dr. Flanary with her farm.
