Kristy is from Indianapolis, Indiana.  She came to Western Kentucky to attend Murray State University and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis in Animal Health Technology.  At MSU she was a member of the Equestrian Team and has competed with horses since she was a young girl. 

Kristy met her husband while in school and they welcomed their first child in 2007. They share their home with a West Highland White Terrier named Sugar, a Shihtuz named Barney, and a kitty named Izzy.  Kristy also has a Belgian horse King Arthur that she raised from a weanling.  In her free time Kristy enjoys spending time at the barn with her horse, and watching movies with her friends and family.
